Allison's Incredible Salad Dressing

Ingredients

Best if made a day ahead

In a clean quart jar mix:
1 cup sugar
1 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup orange juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon garlic salt
1 1/2 tablespoon onion salt
1 tablespoon capers or juice (optional)
1 teaspoon each dill, crushed rosemary, thyme and basil.

Shake or mix well and add oil to the top of the jar. Can add 1/4 teaspoon xanthum gum to slightly thicken. This dressing is also great on a pasta salad or as a marinade for meat.

salad:
spring mix greens
fresh raspberries
fresh blackberries
fresh strawberries, sliced
Kiwi (peeled and sliced), optional
avocado, diced
candied pecans


Directions

Mix well together. When ready to serve, pour on desired amount of dressing. Carefully toss and serve.
