Desserts > Cheesecakes >
Ingredients
1 dark chocolate cake mix
1/2 cup margarine, melted
2 eggs
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Blend cake mix, melted margarine and 1 egg with a mixer on low speed until combined. Mixture will be very stiff. Reserve 1 cup. Press remaining mixture into a lightly greased 9-by-13-inch cake pan, building up the edges slightly.
Beat cream cheese until smooth; add sweetened condensed milk, the remaining egg and vanilla. Beat on medium speed until smooth. Pour over crust and sprinkle evenly with reserved dough mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until the center is puffed and edges are lightly browned. Cool completely. Cut into bars. Store in the refrigerator. Makes 24 bars or more, depending on size.
