Dilly Bread

Ingredients
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 cup cottage cheese
1 package dry active yeast
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup warm water
1 tablespoon instant onion
2 teaspoons dill seed
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg, beaten
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 1/2 cups flour
Directions
Heat cottage cheese and butter in small oven to lukewarm. Add yeast and sugar to warm water. Set aside. Add cottage cheese, butter, onion, dill seed, salt and egg in large bowl. Mix well. Add yeast. Sift flour and soda together. Add to cheese mixture and mix to a soft dough. Let rise 45 minutes or until doubled in size. Dough may be made into rolls or a single loaf. Place in a greased Dutch oven. Let rise again. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown on top. (6 to 8 coals on bottom and 15 to 18 coals on top.) Brush with butter, sprinkle with salt.
