Blizzard Bites
Ingredients
1/2 cup bite-size rice squares cereal (such as Chex)
1/4 cup broken mini-twist pretzels
1/4 cup coarsely chopped dried pineapple
1/4 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
6 tablespoons white baking chips
Layer rice squares, pretzels and macadamia nuts in pint jar. Combine dried pineapple and cranberries; place in jar. Layer white baking chips on top of dried fruit.
Directions
Directions to put on jar: Remove white baking chips from jar; set aside. Empty remaining contents into a medium bowl, stirring to combine. Place white baking chips in a small saucepan and melt over low heat. Pour melted chips over snack mixture. Stir until mixture is evenly coated. Spread in a single layer on waxed paper to harden. Makes about 2 cups snack mix. (Or for those who don't want to bother with melting and mixing, these tidbits are great poured into a bowl and eaten just as they are!)
