Basic Cookie Mix

Ingredients
9 cups all-purpose flour
3 cups nonfat dry milk
3 tablespoons baking powder
1 tablespoon salt
4 cups vegetable shortening, softened
4 cups sugar
Directions
Mix flour, dry milk, baking powder and salt. Combine sugar and shortening; mix until light and fluffy (this can be done with a big spoon, low speed on mixer, or clean hands). Add dry ingredients gradually; blend thoroughly, mix until resembles coarse cornmeal. Stores for several weeks at room temperature.
