Marie Lloyd's Pie Crust

Ingredients

2 heaping cups flour
1 cup butter-flavored shortening
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cold water


Directions

Mix flour, shortening and salt in a shallow bowl. Mix with fingers until mixture resembles cornmeal. Add water. Fold mixture together to form a soft ball. Keep dough in airtight container until you roll it out. Makes 2 2-crust pies if baked in 8-inch pie tins.
