Ingredients

This recipe is the grand prize winner of the 8th Annual Newman's Own/Good Housekeeping Recipe Contest. It was worked out by the fourth- and fifth-grade classes of Diane Reilly at North Avenue Christian School, Burlington, Vt.

2 10-ounce packages refrigerated pizza dough
1/2 pound deli style mesquite turkey breast, shaved
8 ounces mild Cheddar cheese, shredded
11 ounces prepared salsa (medium)
8 ounces sour cream

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 F. On a floured board, unroll both packages of pizza dough and cut each into 4 squares, about 5 inches each.

Arrange turkey breast, cheese and salsa (about 2 tablespoons) diagonally on half of each dough square. Fold the empty side down over the filling. Turn the bottom edge over the top edge and pinch to seal.

Put Paulkets on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake about 20 minutes. (If sealed improperly they may leak, but they still taste delicious.) They are done when the dough is cooked through and lightly browned.

Serve with generous amounts of salsa and sour cream. Makes 8 Paulkets.
