Lemon Float Punch

Ingredients
Juice of 10 to 12 lemons (2 cups)
3/4 cup sugar
4 cups water
2 bottles (1 liter each) ginger ale, chilled
1 pint lemon sherbet or frozen vanilla yogurt
Lemon half-cartwheel slices and fresh mint leaves (optional) for garnish
Directions
Combine lemon juice and sugar; stir to dissolve sugar. Add water; chill. To serve, in large punch bowl, combine lemon mixture and ginger ale. Add small scoops of sherbet, lemon half-cartwheel slices and mint. Makes about 15 cups.
