Ingredients

1 quart of home-canned tomatoes
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 quart milk
1 teaspoon pepper


Directions

Heat tomatoes in 2-quart pan. When hot add baking soda and stir constantly; add milk, stirring till heated through. Add pepper to taste.
