Mulled Cider

Ingredients
1/3 cup molasses
1 cup water
2 tablespoons lemon juice
16 whole cloves
Few drops of cinnamon oil
1/2 gallon apple cider
Directions
In a small saucepan, combine molasses, water, lemon juice, cloves and cinnamon oil. Bring to a boil over high heat, lower heat and simmer, uncovered, 4 to 5 minutes. Meanwhile, in a large deep kettle, heat the cider over low heat. Pour the molasses mixture into the cider and blend. Ladle into mugs. Serves 10.
