Bacon 'n' Egg Melt

Ingredients

1 egg
2 teaspoons water
2 teaspoons butter or margarine
Black pepper, to taste
2 slices bacon, cooked
1 English muffin, split
1 slice American cheese


Directions

Whisk egg in small bowl with water. Melt 1 teaspoon butter in small skillet on medium heat; add egg mixture. Cook and stir almost constantly for 2 to 3 minutes, or until set. Season with pepper.

Meanwhile, lightly toast muffin and spread with remaining teaspoon butter. Place egg on muffin; top with cheese and criss-cross with bacon. Cover with muf-fin top before serving. Yield: 1 serving.
