Easy Cream of Broccoli Soup

Ingredients
Yield: 6 Servings
2 packages frozen chopped broccoli (10 ounce packages)
2 cans chicken broth
1/4 cup onion, chopped
2 cups milk, or part cream (or half and half)
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour and a little milk to make a thickening
Directions
Cook broccoli as per directions on package, add chicken broth and onion, and simmer for about 20 minutes. Add milk. Mix flour with a little milk to make a very thin paste. Add to soup; stir until slightly thickened. Add butter. Season with salt and pepper. If you like a smooth soup, put vegetables and milk in blender and blend before adding thickening.
Each serving contains 199 calories, 15g fat, 12g carb, 755mg sodium, 52mg cholesterol.
