Sweet Potato Casserole

Ingredients

8 medium sweet potatoes, baked
1/2 cup Karo light or dark corn syrup
1/4 cup margarine
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
3/4 cup chopped walnuts


Directions

With spoon scoop pulp from potatoes; place in bowl. Stir in corn syrup, margarine, cinnamon and nutmeg. With potato masher or wire whip (or an electric mixer) beat until smooth. Stir in 1/2 cup of the nuts. Spoon into 1-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining nuts. Bake in 350 degree oven 20 to 30 minutes or until heated. Makes 8 servings.
