Mom's Apple Crunch

Ingredients

Yield: 12 servings

10-12 medium apples, peeled, cored, sliced thin
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 cup water

For crust:
2 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
2/3 cup margarine, melted
1/2 cup sugar


Directions

Combine graham cracker crumbs with melted margarine and 1/2 cup sugar; set aside. Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, lemon juice and water; set aside. Place sliced apples in 9-by-13-inch pan that has been sprayed with Pam. Pour sugar-cinnamon mixture over apples. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-70 minutes, until apples are tender. Serve warm or cold with ice cream or whipped cream.
