Oriental Salad

Ingredients

Yield: 12 servings

Salad:
3 cups thinly sliced cabbage
3 cups thinly sliced lettuce
3 green onions, sliced
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1 package chicken flavor Ramen noodles
1 1/2 cups diced, cooked chicken (optional)

Dressing:
Flavor packet from Ramen noodles
3 tablespoons rice vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pinch of pepper


Directions

Toss together the cabbage, lettuce, green onions, sesame seeds and almonds. Crush noodles over salad and toss again. Add chicken, if desired. Prepare dressing and mix into the salad. Cover and refrigerate one hour before serving.

Each serving (with chicken) contains 133 calories, 8g fat, 9g carb, 202mg sodium, 21mg cholesterol.
