Fresh Fruit Crunch

Ingredients

1 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup uncooked instant oatmeal
1/2 cup butter or margarine
6 cups sliced fresh apples, peaches, or rhubarb
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla


Directions

Mix until crumbly flour, sugar, cinnamon, oatmeal and butter or margarine. Place half of crumbs into 9-inch greased baking dish. Cover with fresh fruit. Cook sugar, water, cornstarch and vanilla until thick and pour over fruit. Top with rest of crumbs. Back in a preheated 350-degree oven for one hour. Top with whipped cream, ice cream or frozen yogurt.
