Ingredients

Crust:
1 package active dry yeast
2 tablespoons honey
1 1/2 cups lukewarm water
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup whole-wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons corn oil

Toppings:
Your choice of tomato sauce, mushrooms, onions, peppers, skim-milk mozzarella, etc.

Directions

In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and 1 tablespoon of the honey in 1/2 cup of the lukewarm water. Let rest 3 to 5 minutes.

Place the all-purpose and whole-wheat flours and salt in a food processor. Turn machine on and off several times to blend. While machine is running, pour in yeast mixture, the remaining honey and the oil. Gradually add enough of the remaining lukewarm water to form a smooth dough. Process until dough forms a ball.

Transfer dough to a large oiled bowl. Cover bowl with damp towel; let dough rise for 30 to 45 minutes or until it doubles in size. Remove dough from bowl; cut in four equal portions and shape. Let children add desired toppings.

Bake in 450-degree F oven for 30 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
