Nectarine Breakfast Brulee

Ingredients

4 servings instant oatmeal, prepared according to package directions
4 fresh nectarines, halved, pitted, sliced (there's no need to peel nectarines)
3/4 cup nonfat sour cream
4 teaspoons packed brown sugar


Directions

Prepare instant oatmeal in individual serving ramekins (ovenproof and safe for brief broiling). Spread prepared oatmeal evenly in bottom of ovenproof bowls.

Place sliced nectarines on top of oatmeal in each bowl. Whip nonfat sour cream to soften and spoon over fruit slices. Sift brown sugar evenly on top. Place bowls on a rimmed baking sheet or jelly-roll pan and run beneath a preheated broiler to glaze the brown sugar. The sour cream should be heated through, but do not allow the sugar on top to burn.
