Salsa Fresca

Ingredients

6 tomatoes, diced
1/2 red onion, finely diced
1 bunch scallions, chopped
1 tablespoon garlic, chopped
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely diced
1 tablespoon wine vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 bunch cilantro, chopped
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper


Directions

Blend all ingredients; chill for two hours before serving. Makes about 2 cups.

Each 1/4-cup serving contains 51 calories; 2 gm fat; 285 mg sodium; 0 mg cholesterol.
