Rich Fudge Brownies

Ingredients

1 1/3 squares margarine
4 squares (4 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups flour
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup nuts, optional


Directions

Melt chocolate and margarine over low heat or microwave.

Beat eggs and blend into cooled chocolate mixture. Add remaining ingredients; blend well. Pour into a greased, 9-by-13-inch pan; bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool and frost with butter cream frosting, then drizzle over top or blend 1 square unsweetened chocolate with 3 tablespoons margarine. Melt together; blend and cool slightly. When somewhat set, drizzle over brownies. Makes about 28 bars.

Each brownie contains 150 calories; 8 gm fat; 78 mg sodium; 30 mg cholesterol.
