Chocolate Chip/Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup margarine
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 1/4 cups flour
2 cups oatmeal
1 package (12 oz.) semisweet or milk chocolate chips
Directions
Cream together margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla; add the dry ingredients and blend well. Add chocolate chips. Roll in large balls and place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Makes 2 dozen large cookies.
Each cookie contains 277 calories; 12 gm fat; 263 mg sodium; 18 mg cholesterol.
