Drang Tsel (Cold Vegetable Salad)

Ingredients

3 carrots or white turnips, sliced into very thin strips
1 medium onion, sliced into very thin strips
1 cup red cabbage, sliced thinly
1 tomato, chopped
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/4 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
salt to taste


Directions

Combine ingredients and toss. Serves 8.

Each serving contains 33 calories, .2 gm fat, 170 mg sodium, 0 mg cholesterol.
