Ingredients
Preparation time: 15 minutes plus baking
Yield: 8 servings
2 whole chickens, cut or 8 chicken breasts
1 bottle (8 oz.) Russian salad dressing
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 jar (8 oz.) apricot jam
Directions
Combine salad dressing, dry soup mix and jam; pour over chicken in baking dish. Cover with foil and bake at 300 degrees for 2 hours or until chicken is tender. Serve over rice if desired.
Each serving, calculated with whole chickens, contains 709 calories; 37 gm fat; 2193 mg sodium; 177 mg cholesterol.
