Fresh Peach Pie

Ingredients
Crust:
3 cups flour
1 1/2 cups butter-flavored shortening
3/4 cup ice water
3 teaspoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
Filling:
5 cups fresh peaches, sliced
1 teaspoon lemon juice
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
2 tablespoons margarine
Glaze:
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
Directions
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; cut in shortening. Add water, a few tablespoons at a time, to make a soft dough. Divide in half and form a ball. Roll out on flour surface. Press evenly in 10-inch Dutch oven. Cut off extra crust two-thirds up the side of the oven.
Prepare filling; add to Dutch oven. Use remaining dough to make a lattice crust. Seal edges using water. Brush top with egg and water glaze.
Bake with 15-20 coals on top and 10-15 coals underneath oven for 35-45 minutes. Makes 10 servings.
