BBQ Chicken and Cheddar Pizza

Ingredients

1/2 cup plain tomato sauce
1/2 cup prepared barbecue sauce (such as KC Masterpiece)
1-pound long-loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
2 cups sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 cups cooked chicken, coarsely chopped into bite-size pieces
1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
1/2 green pepper, thinly sliced


Directions

Preheat broiler. In a small bowl, combine tomato sauce and barbecue sauce. Spread evenly over cut surfaces of bread. Sprinkle each side evenly with cheese.

Top with chicken, red onion, and green pepper. Broil until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 3 minutes.
