Hallelujah Halibut

Ingredients
2 pounds halibut steaks, 1-inch thick
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sour cream
2 teaspoons flour
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon minced onion
1/8 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions
Rinse halibut and apt really dry on paper towel. Arrange steaks, side by side in greased 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream and flour in small bowl. Stir in lemon juice, onion and pepper. Spoon mixture over fish. Bake, uncovered, at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over fish and continue to bake until cheese is melted, about 2 minutes. Serve at once. Serves 5-6.
