Ingredients
Marinade:
2 cups soy sauce
1 cup water
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon dark molasses
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon salt
Directions
Red Sauce:
1/3 cup water
1 bottle (14 oz.) catsup
1 bottle (12 oz.) chili sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon dry mustard
6 1-pound pork chops
Combine marinade ingredients; bring to a boil, then cool. Put chops in a pan with bone side up. Pour the sauce over the pork chops; let stand overnight in refrigerator. To cook, place chops in baking pan and cover tightly with foil. Bake at 375 degrees until tender, about 2 hours. Combine ingredients for red sauce, bring to a boil. Remove chops from baking pan and dip in red sauce. Bake an additional 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 6 servings.
