Ingredients

1 loaf bread dough

Directions

Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick spray. Cut a piece off the end of a loaf. Roll the rest of the loaf into a baseball bat. Put it on the cookie sheet. Flatten the big end into the 'gator's head. With knife, make cuts down each side of the 'gator. Pull them out to make four legs. Cut a mouth. Hold it open with crinkled up foil. Pinch the end of the nose up.

With the rest of the dough, make two eyes and four feet. Cut the toes. Put the eyes on the top of the head. Put the feet under the legs. Clip the scales on the alligator. Turn the oven on to 350 degrees. Wait 20 minutes. Bake about 25 minutes. Turn oven off. With hot pads, remove the cookie sheet from the oven and let it cool. Take the foil out of the 'gator's mouth when the bread has cooled.
