Alfred Hitchcock's "Vertigo" is one of the greatest movies ever made. Very suspenseful (what else do you expect from a Hitchcock film?) and ultimately quite disturbing. There's a huge plot twist halfway through, and another one at the very end. The Bernard Herrmann score is also great, as is the cinematography of the area in and around San Francisco.

Hitchcock was at his carrear peak in the fifties. He was ganining fame with his t.v. show and movies like Rear Window,North by Northwesy and to catch a thief where gainging critical and box office aclaim. vertigo came out around this time and also gainded critical and box office aclaim. Jimmy Stewart (a hitchcock regular) was at his best. thats all I'm going to tell you since Vertigo is one of those movies where you need to see it on your own without any fool telling you anything about the plot. Just take my word for it. It's a worthwhile movie.

Vertigo was one of Hitchcock's best thrillers from the 1950's, with compelling performances by Stewart and Novak, and a very chilling atmosphere to keep the viewers in suspense. Very recommended.
