1492 is the best movie i ve ever seen in my life!!!!I don't know why some people reckon it is full of nudity or something like these!I think Ridley just wanted to tell the truth about Columbus and the director had made it!And, let me tell you that the film's music is composed by Vangelis who i adore!Really!!!!

While I think that the movie itself is long and drawn-out. I also believe that it is a wonderful film. I don't think that the profanity is that widespread in the movie and the violence is a necessary part of telling the story. The nudity is what is called in educational circles "National Geographic"- type nudity. There is almost no sexual overtones about this in the film. Great movie!!!

Thought the movie was wonderful. It is long and deep, but if you can keep up with the dialoge and story, it is wonderful. The score done by Vangelis is nothing short of amazing.

This movie was very badly made and the fact that it was rated only PG-13 disappoints me...there is profanity, nudity, and VERY muuch violence

Thought the movie was very poorly made. The costumes, architecture and cross-cultural connections were very accurate however.
