My hustband and I enjoyed this movie. We thought the theme
was more in line with if you are prepared, courageous and
charitable, you can meet any challenge or taunt by standing
up for yourself (as the Joe finally did in the fight scene)
or defending the defenseless (as Joe did when he defended
his
girlfriend's honor). We enjoy the Tim Allen slapstick and
Jim Belushi was very funny. And we even enjoyed the music!

As usual, Vice is getting paid to be about as accurate as
the nightly weatherman...sometimes on, usually off. We
enjoyed this movie. My 8 year old was clapping at the end
and that is saying something. Just go to the movie and
enjoy it for the "entertainment" that it is. It's a feel-
good movie for the holidays.
