E.T is a fantastic visual spectacle, who can ever forget
that bicycle scene w/ E.T in the front basket? But, i must
say, it was a bit dark in places, with some overly
distressing scenes of the likeable extra terrestrial. Mind
u, the last time i saw this i was like 5 yrs old, when i
suppose anything looks scary. Maybe i should see it again
b4 i review it properly... yeah i'll do that.

This is without a doubt one of the sappiest and worst
movies ever made. Compared to this movie, "Goonies" is
intelligent and profound. At least the latter has some
personality. Give me hours and hours of Barney, but
please, spare me from ET! :>

I think that to talk about this 80's classic of
Spielberg's, I'd have to refer to how I saw it in my youth
in a Philadelphia movie theater. Well, it was a very
charming fantasy movie, allright. And while there were a
few vile words that weren't neccassary, it was still quite
a classic, with Thomas, Wallace and company doing a great
job. Frankly, I think it better to see the film in it's
standard version, if you can excuse the few vile words that
were put in, and why? Because the scene with the LA police
holding guns can actually serve to show why guns are awful.
In other words, there's a lesson to be learned from this.
So this is a very recommended movie indeed. E.T, phone home!
