Read the book first. It lets you look into life, but the book is so much better than the movie. Go see the movie, but also read the book. The book is sooooo much better. Read it to believe it.

This movie is amazing! I highly recommend seeing it! It will change the way you look at life. It helps you see the real reason we are on this earth and makes you appreciate each day. Go see it!

Congratulations to Anderegg and Merrill, the producers, for a first-class production that does not compromise Latter- day Saint values while still addressing real-life situations in the world. I found the performances by Beers and Eliott very refreshing, not stiff as the Deseret News columnist reported. Most of all, the spiritual aspect of life was properly portrayed. I say this with full respect for all other Christians and non-Christians, whose beliefs I sincerely appreciate and respect. The spiritual dimension of our lives is difficult to portray on film. I believe this, along with "The Other Side of Heaven," does it admirably.

I really enjoyed it. This isn't your typical high action or sex and violence show that seems to be popular today. I thought it started out kind of slow but it made up for it later. I loved the message. There aren't many movies that bring tears to your eyes now-a-days and this one did.

To put it simply, I loved the movie. The first half seemed more comedic, while the second half was very serious and emotional. It was so nice to go to this movie and not have to worry about any indecent scenes or language. It was just an all around beautifully made film and I recommend it to all.

I really enjoyed the movie. I could relate both the main characters in many ways. You learn quickly to love Heather Beers as Charly. I thought the movie was well done, and I plan on getting this one for my own movie collection.

I was very impressed with how well this movie was done. And it was such a great story! I loved it. I don't remember the last time I was so deeply touched by a film. I recommend everyone see this movie.

I loved this movie. Chance of a lifetime to go to a movie and leave the theater feeling better than when you left. Please go see this movie, you will not regret it.We need more movies that uplift us and make us want to do better for ourselves and for the community in which we live.

I loved this movie. I saw it during a screening and it was incredible. The movie was low budget but did not need all the glitter and lights, the story was the heart of it and that was all that was needed. I felt as if I was a part of these peoples lives. This is not an LDS movie, this is a love story that happens to be intertwined with the LDS faith. This man believes in so much, has so much faith and that faith is tested. As in real life with all religions. Did we refer to the Jazz singer as a Jewish movie? I am not a cryer, I never cry over movies, this was a first for me. I not only cried, I lost it. I was out of control. It made me feel those emotions and made my heart feel with joy, and ache with pain for what was going on in thier lives. I as a wife and mother could put myself in her place and feel the reality of what she was experiancing. Hollywood take note, we like clean movies. They can make us feel and appreciate an experiance without all the added garbage. GO SEE CHARLEY, you will not regret it a bit.
