Not used to such long stretches of silence, I was somewhat confused as to the reason for making this film. I loved the scenery, but a movie about two guys lost and not too bright seems to be a waste of talent and energy, not to mention the needed patience to sit through it.

I think it helped that I watched this while doing something else, due to a lot of dead space. It conveys the dullness of being lost in an endless desert with an akward and sensless friend very well. Since theres no real setup you could just understand that they aren't too bright and are lost and skip the first 70% to get to the "what if" ending.

This is the dullest film I have ever tried to watch, and I have no idea what the writer and director are trying to convey - I get no meaning from it except those two friends are the dumbest people I have ever seen.

Well I always wondered ho it would feel like to watch grass grow. Now I can say I know. This is one movie that I think is even more boring that watching grass grow. Watching Gerry and Gerry trek aimlessly through a baren landscape for 2 hours made me wish that I had been marooned on a desert island where DVD'd did not exist, then at least I would not be subjected to movies like this. Anybody think this movie has some kind of profound underlying meaning needs to get out more.
