I enjoyed this film a lot... not as good as Reloaded, but that's a tough one to out-do. My only complaint is the end of the film. IF YOU LIKE SURPRISES, DON'T READ ON! It's not killing off some of the heroes of the movie that bothers me, I applaud that, actually. (it should happen more often)-- It was however, the Oracle's implication that Neo might make a comeback that grated on my conscience. If only she had said, "He's gone! Let it go already! We're not making another sequel with a plot hole this wide open." Oh well, it was still the best movie I've seen since Reloaded.

Even though I was extremely disapointed, I still will buy it when the DVD arrives. That kind of places it in my mid- Saturday afternoon viewing category.....crank up the surround sound and escape to the right-side of the brain for just a bit. Send your left-side to watch "A Beautiful Mind" upstairs in the Kitchen. The prospects were there, but the vision was lost somewhere in the availability of toys that were gained from the accumulation of a larger budget. In my opinion it steps down a couple of notches from the first one. The FX were incredible.....Just imagine if the script would have matched the same quality....oh well, off to buy my tickets for "The Return of the King!"

So, on a symbolic level, if Neo is Jesus and Agent Smith is Satan who goes around possessing people, then who are the machines or the people in Zion? If the machines are gods and angels, then I don?t like their theology where the gods kill the people who discover their existence. Mean vengeful gods. I like happy gods. Yes, the mixed symbolism was deep in this film. Right down to a blazing, light cross transposed on Neo at the end. For all that, I still found myself bored and unattached to the plot or characters. I stated fantasizing of a better plot and characters. I was really starting to hope for the machines to win at the end and put an end to any thoughts for future spin offs. After all, the machines really do deserve to win if the humans make these hand held EMP guns but spend the rest of their time making Robotech armor instead of making some real big EMP guns to point at the enemy and fry every electronic circuit that comes through to Zion. You would think that they would at least have a few EMP bombs around, besides those on the ships that all blew up, for those last ditch efforts, but no, bullets and bombs are much better. I?ve got to go have my own shock therapy now. I know a few volts always clears up my circuitry. I?m going to give away the ending now. It?s Neo with the humans and machines around the VR campfire singing Kombi Ah My Lord. I know you now hate me for that spoiler but I do whatever I can to prevent people from seeing mediocre movies.

This movie blows, but Jeff Vice's reviews are absolutely awful. I think he's spending so much time jotting down in his little notebook why a movie is rated why it is (example: rated R, for profanity, vulgarity, homosexuality, brief strong language, racial epithets, drugs (a woman taking aspirin), rap music, masturbatory humor, and a brief loss of inhibitions) that he doesn't have time to actually study the film itself. I thought Chris Hicks was bad, but holy moly. . .

I thought the movie was awesome i love it,the story line was good but the special effects were amazing i would love to see it again and i will buy the third movie.

I must say that I don't know anyone that doesn't hate Jeff Vice. I saw this movie and was in awe the whole time I watched it. Jeff gave SWAT a better rating than this show. SWAT. Oh, sorry Jeff, was this show too entertaining for you? Aren't movies for fun? You make them seem like homework and grade them. Great movies such as the Italian Job and Star Wars 1 and 2 arebt good enough for Jeff either. I can safely say that I am more qualified to be a movie critic than he is. Everyone hates him, and he needs to get fired.

I just got back from seeing this film. Overall, it was okay. It's too bad that each film got worse and worse. I wouldn't feel bad if you don't see it. I'd say it's a great dollar movie. Honestly, I loved Finding Nemo a lot more.

Uh, no you didn't understand it, I can tell just by your review that you didn't understand it. I will go there. This movie was absolutely amazing, Jeff Vice is a hack. This film was so great that even the critics didn't understand it. No film will ever be like this again and for those who thought the ending was a let-down didn't get it. It explained everything, yeah, they didn't come out and just SAY it. The Wachowskis don't dumb it down for people who don't have an attention span anymore because of all the mind-numbingly retarded action films such as Bad Boys 2 and Charlies Angels.

My wife and I both felt this movie was much better than the poor reviews it has been getting. It was consistent with the two prior films, had lots of great special effects and was not predictable. We spent over an hour reading reviews a couple of hours before we saw the film, and frankly must disagree with most of the criticisms. Those who can't understand the story line need to watch 1 and 2 a few more times. Fans of the first two movies should enjoy this film.

1.5 stars. Not as impressed as I thought I was going to be. I agree with other's I've talked with, definitely the worst one. Oh well can't make em all perfect. Great special effects but the storyline was blah and boring in too many areas of the film, and no I understood the movie so don't even go there!! Morpheus is too hard to listen to anymore, after 3 movies It's hard to hear him speak so slowly. Return of the King and Star Wars Episode 3 will definitely beat this 3rd installment of this movie by far.

This was flat-out the best action movie I have ever seen. Like its predecessors, it was exciting, intense, and surprising. I never would have guessed the way this trilogy ended. What a rush!

I'm a huge fan, but had read negative reviews all over the net so I was expecting the worst. Big surprise - I loved it! Effects and action were awesome, the story was interesting, and it kept me on the edge of my seat all the way to the end. I even liked the ending (which I bet most will not). I'll see it again soon!

I liked this movie for what it was. I thought the whole concept of Neo being trapped in a state of limbo was boring, dragged out, and not needed. The action seens and graphics were wonderful. The movie is entertaining and exciting. If you liked Matrix 1 and 2, you should like this one as well. I do have to say that the ending was very disapointing and a huge let down.

Just got done seeing the movie. I think the worst one out of them all! I was so stoked to see the 3rd installment but I came away pretty dissapointed. Special effects were amazing in MOST cases (which makes up about 1 and a 1/2 out of the 2 stars I'm giving this movie), but some areas were very weak in the special effects department. I'll still buy it when it comes out on DVD (cuz I don't want to just own the first 2 and not the last) but I won't see it again in the theaters. If you haven't seen the movie yet, wait for it to go to the dollar theater, don't waste your money.
