Everyone should see this movie,(otherwise how can we have dialogue about it?) It's very funny, very sad and very, very thought-provoking.

A bit slow at first and too long but the film did illuminate just how impotent George W Bush really is and how Saudi investment infusions kept his oil company alive while his daddy was president. Bill Clinton had an affair with Monica "because he could" and George W took america to war for the same empty reason. Better to have a president obsessed with sex than obsessed with war-oil-money.

While not quite as good as his previous film "bowling for columbine", this film is nevertheless an incredible movie. The mix of news footage, political commentary, humor and theory in not only informative, but very entertaining. Those who criticize this film as being "one sided" are missing the big point. Most, if not all documentataries, are "one sided" and have a point to make. Those who criticize people who see the film as not being able to "think for themselves" are again misguided. Although Moore does espouse his own conspiracy theories in the film, the majority of the film allows the audience to draw their own conclusions. I found the film to be much more "anti- war" than "anti-Bush". However, the main reason why people should see this film is because if they did, I strongly believe that the election would not even be close and not due to Moore's theories and opinions. The news footages and clips of Bush speak for themselves. Footage that for whatever reason the mainstream media has never even shown (makes you question why). If those Americans who are on the fence or even those who support Bush would see this film with an open mind, I think they would come away not only realizing the ineptness of this "war president" (his own term) but angry that they have been misled by this administration. See this film and think for yourself.

Hitler once said that if you tell a big enough lie , often enough, that it becomes the truth. This movie is a clever, thinly veiled, load of crap. Unfortunately people will think that it's so funny , it must be true.

My wife and I liked this film very much, but not in the same way we've enjoyed some of Moore's other films. There were still some funny moments, as there always are in a Moore film. But this time, it was all too horrible, and too sad to laugh at. Which is what makes it his most important film. Because for a lot of people, this film will present new information. He will show footage of things many Americans have never seen. Which is sad, really. Because it shouldn't be new information. These things should have been presented by the U.S. media, and they weren't. The footage was there to be used. But it wasn't. The questions he raises could have been asked, and should have been asked. But they weren't. Because mainstream journalists were too lazy, too complacent, too afraid of losing access to those in power, or too afraid of losing their Corporate patrons: the advertisers. Unfortunately, these questions had to be raised by someone outside the media. And for thousands of people in Iraq, and in this country, the questions came too late.

First off this 122 minute documentary is too long for its own good, and could well have benefited if it had been at least 30 minutes shorter. However with that out of the way, I personally found the film reasonably informative, albeit from Moore's viewpoint only, and whether the subject matter was old information or not, there was plenty that I myself was not aware of which came as quite a surprise. I have read a few reviews which criticise this movie for not allowing the viewer to think for themselves, and in some respects this is the case, however I did come away feeling that Moore is at least sincere in what he is offering. In the end he does get his point across and you can't knock him for that. Nevertheless whether you agree with where Moore is taking you will probably depend on which side of the fence you watch it from. (I wouldn't expect he gets a lot of fan mail from republicans, for example ;-)) The movie is cleverly edited, sometimes comical, awash with patriotism, gloom and despair, but always thoughtful. And with that in mind Moore has succeeded in what he has set out to portray. So is it good, bad or a liberal?s dream? I feel it was none of these and all of those combined, and with that in mind I do recommend it for a viewing . . . Just.

there isnt anything worthy about "F911". in terms of production, its just editing, splicing and manipulating of other people's existing footage and nothing original, unique or creative in cinematography. in terms of format, its a montage of visuals are for the austin power-south park-mtv mentality who are too lazy to think, the uninformed and to those grasping for straws to fit and affirm their world view as what they would like it to be rather than what it really is. in terms of contents, its nothing new that for years been floating around in various sources printed and on the underground web sites that uses circumstantial-connect the dots-unsubstantiated conspiracy theory- preaching to the choir-misinformation propaganda. sadly, its a film with no redeeming qualitites will surely win the "jim sharman's ("rocky horror picture show")-marcus nispel's ("texas chainsaw massacre")" film festival award too bad moore was born at the wrong time and wrong country for he would be a smashing success working with the geheime staatspolizei (gestapo) in germany or the komitet gosudarstvennoy bezopasnosti (kbg) of the u.s.s.r. Michael Moore "Behave yourself, will you? Go find real work!"
