I find it amusing when reviewers compare Meryl Streep's
character in Manchurian to Hillary R. Clinton. It is as if
they are blind to intricacies of personality and only react
to visual similarities --- something like the charge "all
black people look alike, or all Oriental people look the
same." Hillary does not act like Streep's character except
that she speaks forcefully. I guess that is enough to
convict her of heinous behavior?

Overwrought, bloated and 30 minutes too long. I saw the
'surprise' ending coming a mile away. Meryl Streep's worst
performance ever. A big disappointment considering the star
power. I found it only moderately interesting.
