I thought this movie was quite enjoyable, it was good for the entire family. I also thought it was a hilarous comedy, and a must see

I liked this movie because the effects and acting was really good. Jessica Alba gives a great performance in this movie along with many others.

Actors and writers out of the soaps. I'd say it comes in a close second to "The Creature from the Black Lagoon".

Fantastic Four has a been there done that feeling to it but it is lighthearted and fun and energetic and sweet natured. It's too bad that Fox didn't get a better director and screenwriter. The casting is fine but Tim Story directs Fantastic Four as if it were a pilot episode of a new TV series. There isn't much style or grace to the film that elevates it past ordinary. It hardly lives up to the title. It is not FANTASTIC but MEDIOCRE. The best part of the film is the camraderie between Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis and the best characters in the film is easily those two. The Thing is the heart and soul of the film and The Human Torch is the comic energy. Jessica Alba basically just stars in this thing for the teenage boys who are going to be crowding the multiplex. It has an alright origin story to tell but after seeing this weak entry I'm not too excited to see a sequel.

Fantastic Four is fun and entertaining, but doesn't measure up to Batman Begins, Spiderman or other recent films based on comic books. This is a movie in which you can sit back and relax, and just have a good time. It's a little weak on plot in a few places, but does have a lot of great special effects. Although the ending doesn't measure up to this genere of film, and seems a bit rushed, it doesn't ruin the movie. We enjoyed the film and rate it 3 stars.

I thought this movie was very enjoyable. True, it's not exactly Shakespeare, but then again, what comic book based movie is? The fact that many critics didn't like this (including Jeff Vice) shows how out of touch they are with what makes a good popcorn movie.
