Reader comments: V for Vendetta

BROOK | Mar. 25, 2006
This film is utterly fascinating. I am surprised that conservatives aren't more up in arms about this film, since it is so obviously an attack on everything the Bush administration seems to me to stand for: power, wealth, and control. You may disagree with the film all you want, but it is impossible not to think about the issues it raises in such an entertaining and compelling way. Go see this film before somebody like Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, or Michael Medved dissuades you. Think about it and discuss it with your friends and family, or just be wildly thrilled by it. Seldom are big-budget films this provocative AND worth the price of a ticket.
