Because I had seen the stage production here in Utah I was very anxious to see this play finally in a film format. The topic is a "touchy" one here in Utah (the "d" word - divorce - is actually presented and discussed)so I was wondering how it was handled in the film. I was pleased to see the entire production skillfully filmed and edited and the acting was well cast. For a change Michael Flynn didn't overact and the comedy was low-key. Because of my familiarity with the play I would have liked a bit more about the characters but this film did a fine job of moving the play to film. It wasn't preachy - which some LDS films have been. It is a story to which any married, engaged or dating person can relate. It presented it's LDS and non-LDS characters as real people with lives - a refreshing change! Four Stars!!

Enjoyed greatly the various performances, especially that of Stefania's precocious character. Also, appreciated the Shakespeare. No significant concerns with the acting or subject matter. Enjoyed the Boston scenes. Uplifting production - leaving you with some thoughts to ponder. Good night at the movies.
