I went to see this film with no pre-conceived ideas (I didn't even know what it was about) and was utterly mesmerised by it. I thought that the concept of the film was interesting, the script tightly written and the characters realistic and engaging. What could have been a very sappy, schmaltzy film was utterly engulfing and realistic - so much so that I was a wreck at the end of the film and was sobbing because I was so absorbed by the characters and so upset by the turn of the events, although somewhat foreseeable. The characters were really well written and the film was superbly acted. I would highly recommend this film.
