I thought it was a really good movie!!

Oh it's not as bad as all that. It was certainly not as good as everyone was hoping for though. We went and saw it and at the end we all looked at each other and kinda all had the same idea that it was just very average. In my opinion it was however worth getting off the couch and getting out for the evening and paying the price of a ticket. If you don't like it then consider your self out 8 bucks and eat out one less time this month to break even. Who knows, your tight fitting Levi's might even thank you for it.

I saw it opening night, and it was a mistake. Good to have no gore or sex or anything you really might object to. I agree that you have to watch it with the right attitude. Don't spend eight bucks on it though.

I liked the movie, so what if it was farfetched. I'm sure your average movie goer would not take it as historically correct

Good Solid Action Moive. Not a dialouge movie, not a plot movie, not a deep artistic message movie. Go to this with the right attitude and you will enjoy it.
Superb anitmation and fights with Mammoths, prehistoric stork birds, and a very nicely done sabertooth. Good sets too. This movie does have about 25 minutes of dark prophecy foreshadowing-- I think they were trying to get artsy but it really falls flat. You will have to suffer through that to enjoy the action.

This movie was pretty much what the ads portrayed ? nothing more or less. It was nice to get what was being sold in a movie for a change. I think Betsy Pickle?s review was very accurate also. It was a breath of fresh air to see someone who was able to represent a movie to the average movie goers. Many critics appear so pompous that I wonder if they ate breakfast with the Queen that morning -- if only in their own mind. Ms. Pickle?s comment about the movie being just a notch above The Flintstones in historical accuracy made me chuckle and is true. History of the world seems blended in this movie from many continents and time periods spanning millions of years. The movie was creative though. This made it fun for me and the 17 year old I took with me. It was a nice change from the normal movies.

I agree, this was a lame, predictable movie. The only highlight was the audience laughing at the ridiculousness. It would be a stretch to even recommend it as a rental.

Okay, I lied.
This movie was horrible. 2 1/2 stars? Please. This movie was rediculous from the start to the end that I thought would never come. I fess up that I went to see it on opening night, that was money well wasted.
Don't waste your time.
