I really enjoyed this movie. It had its eerie moments of disconcerting realism, and its exciting over the top action scenes, both of which were very entertaining. I went into this movie knowing very little about it and loved it. Very little foul language, excellent special effects creating the feeling of an empty city, no obnoxious sex scenes, and Will Smith's acting was excellent. I'd think twice about letting young kids see it though, there are some very disturbing images.

This movie kicked butt. I'd go see it twenty times more if I got to. I have to agree the ending did kind of stink how they just left you there. But other than that this movie was awesome

The only thing the Movie and the book have in Common is the Title. That's where the similarities end. Just wanted that to be clear.

Brilliant set design, incredible acting by Will Smith, fast action, creepy, scary scenes. . . The perfect movie! (Don't bring younger children.) Highly recommended!

While I found the acting of Will Smith to be very believable and the story line to be exciting, I was very let down by the abrupt ending of this movie. Did the screen writer die? Were they over budget? One moment you are sitting on the edge of your seat and in the next you are let down completely by the quick flat ending that they give you. It did not do justice to the film and left me feeling like I had wasted my time watching this movie. I give 3 stars for Will Smith, 1 penny for the movie. I hear the book is much better, next time I'll read the book first.
