Reader comments: P.S. I Love You

I really enjoyed this movie. I'm not a big Hilary Swank fan, but I thought she did a good job. Gerard Butler was great, a lot of fun, and Jeffery Dean Morgan is to cute for words. I liked it and would recommend it to anyone.

P.S. I Love was one of the strangest films I have ever seen and the reason for that doesn't have anything to do with the content, acting or theme. It has everything to do with the production though. I have never seen a major motion picture or come to think of it, even an amateur production with so many scenes containing shots of the boom mic dancing above the actors heads. During the film people in the audience were whispering and pointing every time it happened. If I had to guess, I would venture to say over a dozen scenes the mic appeared. Needless to say, it took away from the film greatly and I will always remember this film as the one with all the screw ups in it. It makes me wonder how this happened. Too bad for Hilary Swank and company to be mixed up in such a flawed production.

Anyone who is a Gerard Butler fan will see this film and enjoy it, regardless of it's shortcomings. I don't usually see 'chick flicks' but I enjoyed it.
