I just wanted to say that this movie and the second Father of the Bride are my all time favorite movies. I can't speak words that describe the way I feel. My favorite actress is Diane Keaton so that explains what made me watch them in the first place.

I give this 3 1/2 stars. It's funny and well-done, and Martin is at his best. The bride performs superbly as a newcomer to the big screen. Definitely worth seeing. Incidentally, I've commented on five movies tonight, and only one other had comments from other fans. The Desnews ought to promote this site more. Get some national advertisers to put banners on this section of your web site, and then advertise the movie section nationally. The fan reviews are more entertaining than the critics' in most cases, and I also think they're more accurate than those written by Vice, who was way off mark with his assessment of "Simon Burch" and "Rush Hour." He elicits a lot more reader response than Chris Hicks because he's so off base that readers want to correct him. He's like a sports show talk host who says controversial things such as, "Shaq is the greatest NBA player who ever lived," or "Babe Ruth wouldn't hit 20 home runs if he had to go against today's pitchers." With that kind of approach, you get plenty of response but very little respect or loyalty. Vice reminds me of a magazine editor who was caught editing scriptural passages in an article he had been assigned to polish. Arrogant and ignorant.
