I absolutely loved this version of Hamlet. I had read a couple of Shakespeare's plays and couldn't really get into them that much. But after watching Branagh's version I am totally hooked. His acting was absoultely amazing as well as the other actors. Everything was so easy to follow. I have to write a huge reaserch paper on Hamlet and usually I would be procrastinating, but I'm actually enjoying writing this paper. As a theater major and actor,and after watching this movie I can't wait to jump into a Shakespeare play. I would love to play Ophelia! Kate Winslet was amazing. Bravo Branagh!!!!!!!!!

I dont have much time so I'll make this brief. My review for Branaghs version of Hamlet can be summed up in one word WOW! I know it seems corny but when I first started watching shakespears plays I was kind of back and forth on witch one was my favorite. Then I saw Hamlet and from the beging I was hooked. Branagh is now my favorite actor and I have searching for a long time for a movie store that still carries his version of hamlet but I can find none. If anyone can contact me through email and tell me if I can purchase it online or if there is a certain store I can find it in please do, I am in dire need to find this movie. Thank You.

We are watching this in my AP language class. Even at the end of the period we are wanting to watch more. We read the play first and this movie is so good at staying with the original play as well as adding important scenes that are not included in the play. This is a great movie and I would recommend it to everyone!
