RALPH MACHIO MAY OF BEEN THE STAR, BUT THOMAS IAN GRIFFITH STOLE THE SHOW. THIS WAS GRIFFITH'S BIG MOVIE DEBUT AND WHAT A DEBUT IT WAS.ALONG WITH HIS TRADEMARK SINISTER SMILE, HE WAS MANIPULATIVE,CUNNING,AND PURE EVIL. EVERYTHING YOU COULD OF WANTED FROM A HOLLYWOOD HEEL.

KK Part 3 was outstanding. Thomas Ian-Griffith (Terry Silver) is a very powerful actor. His character was brilliant. Mike Barnes Kobra Kai was brilliant. They were all four star movies. Personally the first one that guy sucked at fighting. Mike Barnes was the best nemesis.

I agree that the Karate Kid III was absolutly the worst of the three films. Karate Kid I had a plot, great soundtrack, and superb acting. The second film, lacked the great soundtrack, but still had a good plot, good acting, and great sceenery! The third film... Well, the director really messed up. The film was pointless and should have just been left at Karate Kid II. No reason to stretch a plot to the breaking point. I had higher expectations from the cast and the director, and was disappointed.

The first film was excellent, the second film was pretty good, but this third(and unneccassary) installment scrapes bottom. Do you know what's really disgraceful about this third movie? That it depicts-oh, gawd!-one of Daniel's enemies punching his girlfriend in the stomach. This ghastly act was even mentioned in the Washington Post a few months ago. How could the filmmakers be dare to commit such an offensive and contemptuous act? What they could have done was write that Daniel's ladyfriend could also study karate. Sadly, they had to take the cheapskate road, and put in a scene that's very outraging. And the story is also very disappointing. That's why we should just stick to the first two movies and nix the third.
