try this brother,Lay flat on your back with no pillow,so that you body is level. Relax and Let gravity push you flat.Do this for at least 7 hours per day/night.massage between each hour, because it is painfull? After about 3 weeks your creator will have a word with you.It is amazing? I discovered it by noticing how gravity is squashing us up like a banana. And decided to reverse the effect by laying flat. What a surprise I got.Its amazing for your mind body and soul? Please try.it will hurt.

This would have to be one of the best Martial Arts films out there. Jean Claude Van Damme makes a decent effort for acting, een though its not the best he does the most realistic angry cry ever. The fight scenes though are what we martial arts fans came to see and yes the fight scenes are fantastic, with hard hitting attacks and powerful choreography this movie is tops. Van Damme is still the man!

This critic is stupid, that's all I have to say, because he doesn't diserve anything more.

For me it really doesnt matter if this film is a combination of Rocky /Karate Kid/Rambo for the reason that JCVD is the best martial arts actor that ever graced the big screen. Who else had the aesthetics (physique wise, flexibility shown by his trademark splits and jump spinning heel kicks) and also has good acting skills IMHO. I think JCVD is one of the most charismatic action martial arts stars ever, when I saw this film in video when I was about 10 yrs. old this motivated me to learn martial arts.

I gess the movie is for Martial Art lovers. Cause some scenes expired me to push myself into some serious training and it helped me to understand what to do when times are rough. When you love action movies it maby will dissapoint you after seeing the movie, but i gess the real martial art fans are watching the film from a diffrent angle. How to handle your mind and beeing in difficult times. And i dont mean that you have to kick palm trees and break your legg every time you have a bad hair day. A martial art lover will pick up things he saw in the movie. And will maby understand the movie better than some one who only expect action. Kick - Thay boxing is an ancient art and Jeane Claude and afcourse the producers did a verry good job of showing that to the vieuwers. So for the people who saw the movie and understand what im saing here..keep fighting back against all trouble in life, and never surrender... (sorry for my spelling..im not english :)

While quite entertaing, this movie failed to show correct technique in many of the fighting scenes and lacked the variety of the many equaly effective moves that Muay Thai has to offer. I never once saw Van Dame use a knee or elbow. However a good film.. I enjoy training in Muay Thai greatly Although I have not yet had to use it seriously.

"hey" "you want brother alive?" "make crowd happy. let Tong Po punish you all the rounds." "you must last till the end, or blotha die vely slowly" (not typo) kickboxer was Van Dammes greatest movie and i give it this rating because he deserves it so what if the guy can't speak properly he tries and thats what matters besides he explained the accent that he had. He grew up in belgium, his brother in America

I absolultely loved this movie. Kickboxer was the first movie I saw that starred Jean-Claude Van Damme. I am a huge fan of Jean-Claude Van Damme. I always watch Kickboxer. The first Kickboxer was better than the other three Kickboxer movies.

I would definitly rate this movie four stars. Not only is the plot riveting but this is Van Damme at his best. I am a kickboxer and nothing inspires you to be involved with the sport more than this movie. For thos people that say it sucked, maybe you should take a harder look and actually try to feel for the story. If you knew or not, some of the content was based on a true story. The movie wsa so good that even martial arts magazines gave it highest rankings, and as far as martial art movies is concerned, Kickboxer received an I believe either 4 or 5 star rating. Muay Thai, Mauy Thai.

i totally disagree with the movie rating that kickboxer was given. I think that whoever rated it should be sacked as it really was a brilliant movie and the rater obviously dislikes van damme, and i found it to be much more interesting than any stallone or schwarzenegger film. A must see for all martial arts and Van Damme fans. His best film EVER, the best film EVER signed ICEMAN

I think that Kickboxer is a great movie. I love Muay Thai, so anything that has to do with it, I enjoy, but Kickboxer was a great movie because of other aspects as well. It has a happy ending, except for the fact that the brother remains paralized, but at least he is avenged. There arent really many movies that leave you with a good feeling anymore, thankfully this one does. Jean Claude is also my favorite actor!

A deadly bore, and should have got worse an opinion than what your paper gave it. And like many of Van-Damme's pictures it's chauvanistic, and puts the women in thankless positions. Beware.
