Reader comments: A Kid in King Arthur's Court

1 and a half stars? That's being a bit too reasonable. Partly because the acting was beyong laughable. Whatever Kate Winslet was on I'll never know. Of course, what can you expect from the director of other classics such as Mr Nanny with the memorable Hulk Hogan. This movie wouldn't have had a chance of my viewing unless it wasn't a Sunday afternoon, with sports bombarding every other channel. In conclusion, a waste of time, even for a Sunday afternoon.

I watched this movie when I was learning about medeival history in my classroom. My teacher thought we would enjoy it. She was right - We loved it! A boy gets taken from his baseball game, back in time to save King Athur's court. An evil magician is planning to marry one of King Arthur's daughters, so he can take over the throne from King Arthur. There are all sorts of wonderful adventures in the movie, as well as a romance between the Kid and another of King Arthur's daughters. Merlin's magic helps the story come to a happy ending, but you will have to watch this great movie to find out what happens!
