      Fakie — riding backward; also called switch or switch stance
      Goofy-footed — riding a snowboard with the right foot forward
      Haakon flip — rider flips backward into halfpipe with 720-degree spin
      Heel edge — edge of the snowboard on which the heels rest
      Huck — to throw oneself off a jump
      McTwist — an inverted aerial with a 540-degree rotation
      Method air — front hand grabs the heel edge, both knees bent, and the board is pulled to head level
      Regular-footed — riding a snowboard with left foot forward
      Rodeo flip — an invert where the rider rotates while flipping
      Sick — great, as in a "sick" run or trick
      Sketching — flailing precariously and almost falling
      Superpipe — a halfpipe with larger, smoother transition
      Throw — to perform a trick in the halfpipe
